Goodness Graciousness! What a busy week, this whole “worldwide irrigation” mission is intimidatingly large. So much to know, and I’m learning as I go along about the entire concept. Also, I printed out the book that I’ve been working on since last May. Getting it edited (edited enough to take to an editor-REVRUND!) , and writing in all the blank spots between. It’s my passion and I’ve enjoyed every minute of this experience….sigh……..
Passion……I’m unable to speak of the passion that fills my soul……..it’s too much right now…..
And the children, eh? They are so beautiful, no?
The other day my daughter went to a birthday party in Kealakekua. She arrived with friends of hers, their mother being a personal friend of mine. Anyways, when I got to the party to gather my child I found all the children out in the large farm area playing on a huge homemade slip and slide that ran down a hill and ended in a giant pool. It was too much fun, really, and the children were loving it. I checked in with my baby girl, and left to look for some grown ups. What I walked into was a monthly meeting between members of the Waldorf School Community, and I couldn’t have been happier. I actually tried to leave, but knew too many of the people attending, someone got me a chair and before I knew it I was giving my opinion on the new Charter School they’re beginning.
I mentioned that I intended to enroll my son when his speech was more mature, and wondered it they had a speech therapy program that might help him…..
It was perfect timing. The Waldorf School is, in fact, capable of helping Joey now. They can also take him as soon as January for at least a couple of days a week. If anyone out there isn’t familiar with the Waldorf School, you are encouraged to check them out.
Much love to all who check in every now and then, my heart is on fire. I pray that this month finds you in good standing with destiny, and the recipient of many blessings.
My roomate and I made some Wassail, an old holiday beverage. It was a practice run for the next batch. You know, I turn thirty on the thirtieth. Lord help us all.
